Terms of Service
These terms govern a merchant's access to and use of the Miconix Shopify application.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By installing or using Miconix, you agree to these terms and confirm that you are authorized to act for the Shopify merchant account. If you do not agree, do not install or use the service.
2. The service
Miconix evaluates configured post-purchase and return events, maintains customer segments, sends eligible automated emails, creates optional Shopify discount codes, and reports delivery and measured recovery information. Miconix is a focused automation tool, not a complete marketing platform, return-management service, payment processor, or guarantee of revenue or refund reduction.
3. Merchant responsibilities
- Use Miconix only for lawful business purposes and customers you are authorized to contact.
- Maintain accurate sender, reply-to, business-address, template, discount, and support information.
- Obtain and maintain all required marketing consent and provide legally required notices and opt-out mechanisms.
- Review automation rules before activating them and monitor delivery results.
- Protect Shopify accounts and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
- Do not use Miconix for spam, deceptive offers, harassment, unlawful discrimination, security testing without permission, or infringement of third-party rights.
4. Plans, usage, and billing
Current prices and plan limits are shown in the Shopify App Store and the in-app Plans page. Paid subscriptions are billed through Shopify. Usage limits apply per displayed billing period. Failed or skipped messages are handled according to the usage disclosures shown in Miconix.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel a paid plan from Miconix without contacting support. Where Shopify reports paid time remaining, paid access continues until the displayed period end and then reverts to the applicable free entitlement. Uninstalling the app stops Miconix automation; data is subsequently handled under the Privacy Policy and Shopify compliance process.
6. Third-party services
Miconix depends on Shopify, email delivery, hosting, database, and network services. Their availability and separate terms can affect Miconix. You are responsible for your Shopify store, products, return settings, customer accounts, and discount eligibility.
7. Intellectual property and feedback
Miconix and its software, design, and documentation remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You retain rights in content you provide. You grant Miconix the limited rights necessary to process that content and operate the service. Suggestions may be used to improve Miconix without an obligation to compensate you.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to operate Miconix reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may make changes needed for security, legal compliance, Shopify platform changes, or product improvement. Material changes that significantly affect use will be communicated through an appropriate channel.
9. Suspension and termination
Access may be limited or suspended to address security risks, illegal activity, material breach, payment failure, abuse, or platform requirements. You may stop using Miconix by cancelling the paid plan and/or uninstalling the app.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Miconix is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Miconix does not guarantee delivery to every recipient, discount redemption, revenue, conversion, or prevention of returns. To the extent permitted by law, Miconix is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.
